Description
The HomeUPS series of voltage converters is used to supply electric devices requiring 230V AC voltage from 12V batteries and car installations. It can also be successfully used as an emergency source of energy for devices that require continuous power supply, such as furnaces and central heating pumps, for example. In one housing with display there is an automatic voltage regulator AVR, 15A rectifier for charging batteries and a pure SINUS converter. The inverter can operate in UPS mode, which ensures continuous and trouble-free operation of blowers, feeders, pumps, etc. The device will automatically switch over after the loss of the mains voltage to work from the battery, and after the 230V voltage recovery will charge the battery.
A feature that distinguishes sinus converters from classic straight AC / DC converters is the output on alternating voltage with a sinusoidal waveform, identical to that in the power grid. This enables powering devices equipped with electric motors and transformers, such as power tools, pumps and low-power household appliances. Simple, cheap converters actually produce rectangular voltage, sometimes called incorrectly a "modified sine wave". Such voltage is not suitable for powering inductive or capacitive devices and may damage them.
